Catalytic Converter Stolen from Vehicle in Parking Garage on West Algonquin Rd, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police received a report about 5:06 p.m. Thursday of a theft of a motor vehicle part at 85 West Algonquin Road. Police received a report that a catalytic converter was removed from a vehicle parked in a parking garage at 95 West Algonquin Road. The vehicle was a black 2006 Honda Element. The cost to repair the vehicle is between $1,500-$2,000.

The crime is reported to have occurred between 8:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Thursday, December 22, 2011.
