Buffalo Grove police responded about 8:15pm Friday, December 2, 2011 to a report of a battery by a shoplifting suspect to a loss prevention officer at Dominick’s, 450 West Half Day Road.
The store manager reported a female subject was suspected of shoplifting. When the subject was confronted, she dropped some candy and ran from the store. The subject’s husband got out of a car and began a physical confrontation with the loss prevention Officer. The couple are senior citizens, and the manager and loss prevention officer decided that no complaints would be signed.
