Residential Burglary on North Belmont Avenue, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police responded about 6:53 p.m. Thursday to a report of a residential burglary in the 800 block of North Belmont Avenue. Police received a report that a resident discovered marks on the front door consistent with forcible entry or a forcible entry attempt. At first the resident believed that only an attempted burglary had occurred. A few minutes later the resident discovered items missing.

The crime is reported to have occurred sometime last night.
