Arlington Heights police responded about 6:23 p.m. Thursday to report of a theft/robbery at the Jewel-Osco, 1860 South Arlington Heights Road. The offender was described as a male/black, about 34-35 years-of-age, corn rows, black jacket, blue jeans. He got into the passenger side of a white Ford Expedition that fled northbound Arlington Heights Road from Golf Road. As security approached the suspect, the male/black subject told security personnel that he had a gun, but did not display a weapon. The suspect left without the baby formula that he was reported stealing.
Police reported responding southbound on Arlington Heights Road and not encountering any white Ford Expedition.
