Small Fire in Ceiling at Currency Exhange on South Roselle Rd

Schaumburg police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 8:42 a.m. Monday to The Currency Exchange, 1019 South Roselle Road. Initially police responded to an activated burglar alarm, but on arrival reported a lot of smoke in the building. The Subway next door was evacuated after smoke drifted there from the currency exchange.

Firefighters arrived and reported a small fire in a bathroom ceiling fan. the fire was extinguished with a pump can.
