Attempted Residential Burglary: Burglar Alarm, Pry Marks on Landmeier Rd, Elk Grove Village

Elk Grove police responded about 2:27 a.m. Thursday to a report of an activated residential burglar alarm in the 300 block of Landmeier Road. Police received a report that the a front door sensor was activated. When police arrived, they reported fresh pry marks, and set up a perimeter to search the neighborhood for an offender or offenders. A K-9 was also used to search the neighborhood.

No word on any police contact with an offender, and no confirmation on whether the pry marks were fresh pry marks.
