Palatine police received a report about 7:46 p.m. Monday of a suspicious man near Palatine High School. Police received a report that the man asked two 14-year-old girls if they needed a place to go trick or treating or if they needed a ride. The girls refused and one of the girls contact her mother, who called police after picking up the girls.
The man was described as a male — possibly Middle Eastern — about 40-years-old with dark brown hair.
