Burglary to Vehicle in Progress on Business Center Drive

Mount Prospect police responded about 1:10 p.m. Saturday to a report of multiple burglaries to vehicles in progress in the 1100 block of Business Center Drive. Police received a report that the two male/white subjects in their teens were breaking in to vehicles in the area. The subjects were described as wearing white sweatshirts, black jeans and gloves.

A witness updated police that the teens smashed a back window and were burglarizing the vehicle. They were also reported entering a passenger door.


Police arrived on the scene in less than three minutes and reported sighting two male/white subjects, and that they were out talking with the subjects. Police reported a Jeep Cherokee with extensive damage.

Police were investigating LEADS for Apple iPods and bicycles at the scene. Two male/juvenile suspects were transported in custody to Mount Prospect Police Department Headquarters.
