Arlington Heights police received a report about 1:56 a.m. Sunday of a suspicious incident in the 400 block of South Reuter Drive. Police received a report that three teenagers were inside a white pickup truck that was moving slow down the street with the headlights off. The bed of the pickup truck was reported to be loaded with pumpkins. The three teens were placing pumpkins on the porches of houses in the neighborhood. The caller found a concrete goose on the front porch.

Police found that the teens were apparently leaving stolen Halloween lawn ornaments on other peoples’ property. The police were taking inventory of the stolen property and transporting it for temporary storage at the Arlington Heights Police Department Headquarters.
