Schaumburg police responded about 5:03 p.m. Thursday to a report of a shoplifter detained at Target, 1235 East Higgins Road. Police received a report that the male struggled with security personnel at the store, but was handcuffed and detained, until police arrived.

A few weeks ago we were in the check-out line at Ultra Foods- lol- just down Barrington and we saw a guy try to leave the store with a baby stroller full of items (no baby on board). Security guy got him right in front of everybody and the two literally had a fist fight. You could hear the punches! The security guy grabbed the guy again but his shirt ripped off and he booked out across the parking lot, crossed Barrington Rd and disappeared into an apt complex. Pretty weird scene! Wonder if it was the same guy? lol
