Suspicious Vehicle: Occupant Appeared to be ‘Shooting Up Heroin’

Arlington Heights police responded about 11:02 a.m. Friday to a report of a suspicious vehicle in the 500 block of North Walnut Avenue. A subject was reported to be in a black Lincoln in the northwest corner of a parking lot south of Euclid Avenue. The parking lot is kitty-corner from Christian Liberty Academy — private school.

Within 10 minutes police reported they one subject in custody. The subject was transported to Arlington Heights Police Headquarters in custody. Police were gathering evidence, and a police evidence technician was called immediately to the scene.
