Des Plaines police alerted area police departments of a theft that just occurred a Walgreens at Golf Road and Mount Prospect Road in Des Plaines. Police received a report that a male/white described as 5’10 160 LBS, wearing a black hoodie and blue jeans, was last seen on foot fleeing southbound on Mount Prospect Road. The subject is reported to have taken cash from Walgreens — presumably at a cash register.
