Palatine police respond about 12:22 a.m. Friday to a “burglary that just occurred” in the 2100 block of North Heather Lane. Police received a report that a green Jeep Cherokee was seen leaving the area, and was last seen on Nichols.
A witness became aware of a vehicle burglary in progress when a vehicle alarm sounded. Several vehicles appeared to be burglarized.
