Palatine firefighter/paramedics and Arlington Heights firefighter/paramedics responded about 1:47 p.m. and 1:54 p.m. Thursday to Palatine High School, 1111 North Rohlwing Road for two calls for help within ten minutes — a medical call and medical call related to heat illness. No confirmation on whether the first call was also related to heat.

Weather observations at 1:52 p.m. at Chicago Executive Airport included air temperature 92°F (Dew Point 73°F) and Heat Index 101°F.
