Palatine police alerted area police departments of a hit-and-run crash offender driving a semi-trailer truck eastbound Lake Cook from Rand Road. The driver of a white semi-trailer struck struck another vehicle and did not stop.
The license plate on the truck was given as 187 N 256. The truck was last seen eastbound on Lake Cook Road.
Palatine police were also investigating another hit-and-run at Dundee Road and Rand Road. Police received a report that the offending vehicle was described as a black SUV with license plate DEB 2033. The SUV was last seen southeastbound on Rand Road. The driver of the offending SUV did stop momentarily, and was described as a female/white, about 43-years-old with brown hair, wearing a red and orange shirt.
