Elk Grove Village firefighter/paramedics and police responded to a report of a minivan crashed into a restaurant at Strawberry Hill Plaza, at the northeast corner of Meacham and Biesterfield. Rescuers arrived within minutes and reported no entrapment, and injuries appear to be minor.
Firefighter called out the Elk Grove Village building department for building inspection for structural damage.
