NCH recognized as high-performing hospital in six specialties by U.S. News & World Report

Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights has been recognized for its expert medical care by U.S. News & World Report in the magazine’s 2011-12 Best Hospitals lists released today at www.usnews.com/besthospitals. The U.S. News Best Hospitals 2011-12 guidebook will be available on newsstands Aug. 30.

When compared to all other hospitals in the United States, NCH is considered high-performing in six medical specialties, according to the U.S. News report. The areas of distinction are gastroenterology, orthopedics, urology, kidney disorders, gynecology, and ear, nose and throat.

NCH also was ranked No. 16 overall among the 121 hospitals in the Chicago metropolitan area.
