Mount Prospect police and firefighter/paramedics responded just before 10:00 p.m. Thursday to a report of a hit-and-run vehicle vs. pedestrian incident with personal injuries near Busse and Algonquin Road. The incident was south of Algonquin Road on Busse in front of a bus station or bus stop, just north of James Drive.
The victim was pronounced dead at 10:25 p.m. at Northwest Community Hospital.
