Intoxicated Man Approaches Couple Carrying Branch, Cronin Park

Arlington Heights police received a report about 12:10 a.m. Saturday that a man, apparently intoxicated and later passed out in the park, approached a couple in a threatening manner at Cronin Park, 300 South Vail Avenue. The man was reported to be carrying a branch. He was described as a male/white, 20-years-old, wearing a blue and green T-shirt, tan shorts, sandals, who was last seen passed out on the grass about midnight.

The offender left the area before police arrived.
