Graduation Party Night Brings Several Loud Party Complaints

Saturday night was party patrol starting before midnight. Arlington Heights police received several calls for loud parties, unknown problems and disturbances starting with the party that turned out to involve underage drinking in the 900 block of North Kennicott. Intoxicated subjects were scattered in the area of 900 North Kennicott and 600 North Kaspar Avenue.

Next police got a call for loud party about 11:20 p.m. with the smell of marijuana in the 2200 block of South Goebbert Road. No known arrests from that call.


Police then received a call of 15-20 subjects fighting in a parking lot in the 4100 block of North Bloomington. The call was updated that only two people were fighting. When police arrived just after 11:30 p.m. everything was calm. There was possibly a bachelor party at the location that was a little out of control — possibly the men were being dropped off by a limousine where the wives/bridal party were located. No arrests at that location.

Police got a call about 11:30 p.m. Saturday of a theft at a gathering at the Knights of Columbus. The offender was still on scene, but no word on any police contact with the offender or of any arrests.

Just before midnight police received a call of a loud party with loud music and lots of people outside in the 900 block of south Roosevelt and South Cleveland area. Police found two loud parties, and told them to keep it down. The party hosts agreed. One party was on Cleveland and one was on Roosevelt.

About 12:05 a.m. Sunday police received a loud party complaint in the 700 block of Ladd for a party with loud music and fireworks.

Police responded about 1:00 a.m. to the 2300 block of South Goebbert Rd for a loud party with 30-40 people partying with loud music in the parking lot of the Ashton Apartments.

Police responded about 1:15 am. Sunday to a the 2800 block of North Elm for a loud party with loud music.

Also at about 1:15 a.m. Sunday police received a report of a loud party with about 50-60 people near the intersection of Thomas Street and Arlington Heights Road.

Police responded about 3:30 a.m. Sunday to Heritage Park, 506 West Victoria for people trespassing in the pool area.

No known arrests from any of the incidents. The Kennicott/Kaspar underage drinking party is under investigation and could result in arrests.
