Platinum Security Solicitor Reported As Aggressive, “Tried to Get in House”

Arlington Heights police received a solicitor complaint about 4:20 p.m. Wednesday at a home in the 2100 block of Lake Arlington Drive.

Police received a report that a solicitor from Platinum Security was aggressive and tried to walk in the house. The subject was reported as a male/unknown race, tall with dark hair. He was wearing a Platinum Security badge. He left the area on foot.

  1. On Monday June 6th I was at my mothers house and the Platinum Security solicitor knocked on our door and offered us a free home security system as a promotion. He was not aggressive but persistent on entering our home. He was in full uniform and also left on foot but no sign of transportation.
