SUSPICIOUS PHONE CALLS: A skeptical female kept herself from becoming a victim of fraud recently. She received a telephone call from a subject with a heavy Jamaican accent claiming to be “Richard Benjamin”. “Benjamin” advised her she had won a $2.5 million raffle prize but needed to wire $250 to Montego Bay, Jamaica. She was also told she would get a new car if she wires the $250. The complainant did not wire the money and called 911 to report the incident.
