Hit-and-Run Reported by Third Party, License Plate Found at Lake Cook and Arlington Heights Rd

Buffalo Grove police responded about 12:50 a.m. Tuesday to a report of a hit-and-run crash at the intersection of Lake Cook Road and Arlington Heights Road. Police received a report that a silver or gray SUV hit a yellow or light green VW Beetle. The SUV had front end damage and possible lost a license plate at the intersection. The crash was reported by a third party, and the victim’s vehicle was not at the intersection of Lake Cook Road and Arlington Heights Road when police arrived. Police found the license plate in the intersection.

Buffalo Grove police are investigating.
