Family Member Is Stopped By Police for Following Ambulance Too Closely

#ad▼

Buffalo Grove firefighter/paramedics reported about 6:50 p.m. Saturday that a family member of a patient was following too close to the rescue-ambulance that was en route to Northwest Community Hospital. An Arlington Heights police officer discovered the car near Hintz and Arlington Heights Road and initiated a traffic stop to resolve the problem.

No word on any charges, but following an ambulance, even if the patient is a family member, is a traffic violation.
