Two Loss Prevention Officers Assaulted As Retail Theft Offender Flees Target on Rand Rd

Arlington Heights police received a report about 8:25 p.m. Wednesday that two loss prevention officers were assaulted by a male who fled the Target Store, 1700 East Rand Road, near Rand and Thomas Street.

The offender dropped the merchandise he was accused of removing from the store. The offender was described as a male/white, about 24-years-old with a shaved head. He was wearing a black sweater and white pants. He was last seen on foot, heading toward the condominium apartments north of the Target Store.

Police searched the area and are investigating.
