Arlington Heights police took reports on three hit-and-run crashes between 4:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. Tuesday night. A good vehicle description was reported for one of the crashes, and a statewide alert to police departments was relayed regarding the vehicle.
The first crash was reported about 4:25 p.m. in the 300 block of East Northwest Highway. The vehicle was described as a brown Nissan that was last seen southbound on Arlington Heights Road.
The second crash was reported at the parking lot near Xsport Fitness, 320 East Golf Road. A black Cobalt was hit while parked outside the gym.
The third crash was reported about 7:45 p.m. in a parking lot at Jameson Suites, 2111 South Arlington Heights Road. A purple Intrepid hit the victim car — a silver Lexus.
No injuries were reported in any of the crashes.
