Arlington Heights police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 10:40 a.m. Thursday to a report of a possible suicide attempt in the 900 block of South McKinley involving a weapon. A male was found with traumatic injuries in and apartment and was transported to Level I Trauma Center Advocate Lutheran General Hospital. The scene is safe and secure.
Police escorted the rescue-ambulance to the hospital in Park Ridge. Police investigators on the scene and at Lutheran General Hospital.
