Arlington Heights police arrested a DUI driver about 12:50 AM Saturday near Pine and Central Road. Police on patrol discovered a possible domestic situation on Central Road near Northwest Community Hospital., near Fernandez Avenue.
Several backup units arrived, and the situation was calm. However, police arrested one for DUI, and another for underage consumption of alcohol in the area along Central Road.
No information available whether the subject arrested DUI was acquainted with the subject charged with underage drinking, or whether the DUI driver just happened to pass by police while they were checking the possible domestic situation.
The DUI driver was stopped at Central Road and Pine Avenue. The driver was transported in custody to Arlington Heights Police Department Headquarters. The driver’s red Saturn Ion was towed to a police holding area.
