Arlington Heights police responded about 9:05 AM Wednesday to a report of a burglary to a residence in the 1200 block of North Belmont Avenue. Police received a report that a back door was kicked in at a single family residence. Police checked the house to make sure the offender or offenders were not still in the house. The house was clear — no burglar inside.
An evidence technician was called to the scene.
