North Main Fire Protection District responded about 5:30 a.m. to a fire in a duplex at 9510 Park Lane, just south of the Golf Glen Shopping Center on Golf Road. The fire was extinguished in about 10 minutes. Firefighters searched the residence on fire and the adjoining units. No injuries reported.
Fire departments from Des Plaines, Glenview, Morton Grove, Niles, Park Ridge, and Prospect Heights assisted North Maine Fire Protection District.
