Two Drivers Hit Trees in Separate Injury Crashes in Buffalo Grove Overnight, Early Morning

Buffalo Grove police and firefighter/paramedics responded to two car vs. tree crashes just over two hours apart. The first crash occurred about 4:50 a.m. Monday off of Lake Cook Road in front of the FedEx building, 1100 West Lake Cook Road. A witness reported that the driver appeared injured and intoxicated. The driver of a blue Chevy Blazer was transported to Northwest Community Hospital. Information on whether there was a DUI arrest unavailable.

A second crash occurred just before 7:00 a.m. Monday when a female driver lost control of her vehicle and hit a tree at Busch Parkway and Milwaukee Avenue. One injury was also reported at that crash involving a black Chevrolet Tahoe.
