Arlington Heights police received a report just after 12:30 PM Sunday to a report of a burglaries to two vehicles in the 0-99 block of North Chestnut Avenue. An owner reported that two vehicles were reported burglarized overnight Saturday to Sunday. A navy blue Saturn and a blue Buick Century were reported burglarized.
The burglaries may have been part of a rash of burglaries that occurred in the 200 and 300 block of South Evergreen and Dunton where a suspect was apprehended at Arlington Heights Road and Park Street at 1:55 a.m. Sunday. Arlington Heights police are investigating.
