A Greyhound bus caught fire about 3:30 a.m. Monday in the westbound lanes just east of Mt. Comfort Road. All passengers and the driver were able to get off the bus safely, and no injuries were reported.


The Greyhound bus driver told Indiana State Police that the fire started in the transmission and spread quickly. A second bus was dispatched from the Greyhound station in downtown Indianapolis, Indiana to pick up the stranded passengers.
