The sheer entertainment value of a player as special as Derek Rose iinvaluaBULL. He is a one of a kind player, and I say this only because it is TRUE!! He came to CHICAGO to be a winner, and HE reminds me of (you got it!) Jordan! He has that killer instinct, the passion, the unselfish persona of the “go to guy” in crucial situations. He is quiet, strong, uncomfortable with the limelight and knows of his mission—WIN BALLGAMES!! When he went flying through the air after a loose ball, almost breaking several bones in his head, arms and torso, he wasn’t thinking about “saving himself for future $$$$$,” as some elite players will do. He had the clarity of only one indisputaBULL thought—- grab that loose ball because that’s what I do!!! Sure enough, there he was grimacing with that loose ball that he could have avoided pursuing, but NO- NOT ROSE—Like a CAT chasing that elusive bird–he was all over that loose ball!
