Long Grove firefighter/paramedics responded about 12:30 AM Tuesday to a report of a house fire in the 1100 block of Old McHenry Road. Long Grove firefighters arrived to find fire coming out of windows at the house. The fire was extinguished within about 20 minutes.
Buffalo Grove Fire Department, Lake Zurich Fire Department, Palatine Rural Fire Department and Prospect Heights Fire Department assisted Long Grove firefighters.
Palatine and Prospect Heights sent tanker trucks to the scene. No word on any injuries at the fire.
