Theft or Prank: Bronze Statue of Youth Football Player Moved from Dwyer and Kirchhoff to South McKinley

Arlington Heights police responded about 10:21:58 AM Sunday to report of found property in a front yard in the 800 block of South McKinley. Police received a report that a bronze statue was standing in the front yard of a residence. A police officer checked the front yard and found a bronze youth football player statue. Another police officer aware of the description of the statue, checked the new football field near Dwyer and Kirchhoff. The bronze football player that was bolted in place at the Arlington Heights Park District location was missing.

Police transported the statue to a storage area.
