Wheeling police responded just before 4:20 AM Friday to a report of a burglary to vehicle in progress in the 100 block of Carriage Hill Road, in Whippletree. Police received a report that two male subjects wearing dark jackets and blue jeans — one was wearing a gray hoodie. One subject was wearing a winter knitted cap.
At least two vehicles were burglarized. No information available regarding what if anything was stolen.
Arlington Heights police sent a K-9 unit to assist Wheeling police. officers with tracking and searching for the subjects Wheeling police are investigating.
No word on any arrest or police contact with the offender.
