Rear-End Crash with Rollover Northwest Highway and Lincoln Street

Palatine police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 10:30 AM Monday to a rollover crash at the intersection of Northwest Highway and Lincoln Street. Firefighter/paramedics reported a two-vehicle crash with one vehicle on its side and the driver trapped inside.

Chester Borek, of Elk Grove Village, was driving a Cadillac that rear-end a vehicle and then flipped the Cadillac on its side.

Borek was extricated from the Cadillac, transported to Northwest Community Hospital and then treated and released.

Southbound Northwest Highway was blocked at Hicks Road. Northbound Northwest Highway was also shut down — cross street unknown.
