DUI Crash Into Tree at Lexington and Verde

Arlington Heights police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 4:05 AM Saturday to a car vs. tree crash in the 1300 block of West Lexington, near Lexington and Verde. Before police arrived the driver ran from the car and into a back yard. Police discovered the possible driver at Huron and Verde. The subject was determined to be the driver. Paramedics checked the driver, and the driver was arrested for DUI a short time later.

No word on injuries. Arlington Heights police are investigating. The male driver was transported in custody to Arlington Heights Police Department Headquarters. The driver’s silver Chevrolet Malibu was towed to a police holding area.
