Arlington Heights police responded about 6:45 PM Monday to a report of a shoplifter involved in attempted theft of liquor detained at Dominick’s, 325 East Palatine Road. At first police responded to a report of a robbery at Dominick’s, but then the report was changed to attempted theft of liquor. When police arrived, the male/subject was lying on the floor near the east entrance to the store. Arlington Heights police are investigating. One adult male was transported in custody to Arlington Heights Police Department Headquarters.
