Arlington Heights police responded just before 12:40 PM Sunday to assist a police officer on a traffic stop that discovered a man in a vehicle with several guns inside at the intersection of Douglas Avenue and Central Road. There was possibly a short confrontation, but the man was placed in custody immediately. No shots were fired. Arlington Heights police are investigating.
