Man Is Sold a Fake TV in a Cardboard Box in Rolling Meadows

Rolling Meadows police responded about 5:10 p.m. Friday to report of fraudulent activity that occurred about 4:50 p.m. Friday in the 4800 block of Arbor Drive. Police received a report from a man’s girl friend that he bought a television from two men on the street. The men who gave the victim the goods, sold him a box with a fake TV inside.

The offenders are described as two male/blacks, about 35-years-old. One was wearing a black hat, black shirt, and blue jeans; the other subject was wearing a green hat, black shirt, and blue jeans. The two left the area in a 2005 gray Nissan Altima.
