Criminal Damage/Attempt Burglary to Vending Machine at Doubletree Hotel

Arlington Heights police received a report about 10:45 a.m. Friday of criminal damage/attempted burglary to a vending machine at the Doubletree Hotel, 75 West Algonquin Road. The crime is reported to have occurred Thursday, October 14th, 2010 at 4:30pm and Friday, October 15th, 2010 at 10:45am.. An evidence technician was called to the scene.

An offender or offenders used a drill and a pry tool to gain entry into two Pepsi vending machines and removed an unknown amount of money.
