Arlington Heights police arrested a DUI driver about 3:50 a.m. Friday after a traffic stop at Wilke and Dundee Road in Arlington Heights. A female driver was transported in custody to Arlington Heights police headquarters. The driver’s silver 2-door Acura was towed to a police holding area.
A male friend of the woman arrested showed up on the scene in a silver BMW. Back-up police units kept an eye out for the BMW, which at first appeared to be following the police squad with the offender in transport. No further incident with the silver BMW.
