Arlington Heights police were in a foot chase just before 7:00 p.m. Monday with a male/black dressed in black near the intersection of Goebbert Road and Falcon Drive. The suspect was captured within minutes as he was tasered. Paramedics were called to remove a taser barb in the suspect’s back.
A K-9 unit was called to search the area. The suspect was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and for a warrant for another municipality. The suspect in his 30’s was transported in custody to Arlington Heights police headquarters.
