Criminal Damage to Vehicle: Jogger Punches Car Stopped on Sidewalk at Dunkin’ Donuts

Arlington Heights police received a report about 7:40 a.m. Monday of criminal damage to vehicle in the 4200 block of North Arlington Heights Road. Arlington Heights police received a report that an angry jogger punched a vehicle that was stopped while exiting a Dunkin’ Donuts. A jogger punched a vehicle when he jogged by the stopped vehicle. The punch damaged the vehicle. Apparently the jogger punched the car because the driver stopped in the crosswalk.

The offender was described as a male/white about 45-years-old, 6’0″ 170 LBS, with silver, salt-and-pepper hair, wearing a grayshirt with black side panels, and black jogging pants. He was last seen northbound from Plum Grove Circle in the Stonegate area — near Cooper Middle School.

No word on any broken hands or fractured wrists in the area.
