Woman Seriously Injured, Possibly with Self-Inflicted Wounds Near Walnut and Kirchhoff

Arlington Heights police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 1:15 p.m. Tuesday for a report of a woman in a vehicle with bleeding from her face and arm in a vehicle parked in front of a house in the 900 block of South Walnut Avenue. A scissors was also found near the scene. Paramedics called for a second ambulance for additional paramedics to assist with advanced life support. The woman was transported to Northwest Community Hospital. A police investigator was called to the scene as the injuries did not appear to be accidental.

The police did not mention that they were looking for an offender.
