Arlington Heights arrested a DUI driver about 3:20 a.m. Saturday on Dundee Road just east of Wilke Road. A DUI driver was transported in custody to Arlington Heights police headquarters. The driver’s 2007 Pontiac G6 was towed to a police holding area. The arrest was near the site of a Roadside Safety Checkpoint that was operating Freiday, August 20, 2010 on West Dundee Road — part of a Holiday Mobilization Grant awarded to Arlington Heights Police Department. The Roadside Safety Checkpoint was operating from 10 p.m. Friday to 3 a.m. Saturday.
