Video: Dodge Caravan vs. house.

Arlington Heights police arrested a driver suspected of DUI about 5:45 a.m. Thursday after he drove his mini-van Dodge Caravan into a house. The house stopped the vehicle and damage to the wall of the home appeared to be minimal.

The driver was transported in custody to Arlington Heights police headquarters. Backup units were assigned, since the DUI suspect was reported to be extremely uncooperative during transport. A witness claimed he saw what looked like a bottle of Jack Daniels in the front seat, and that the driver was sound asleep in the driver’s seat when police arrived.
