Fraudulent Activity Report at Best Buy, At Least One Arrested

Arlington Heights police received a report about 5:25 p.m. Monday that a group of men and woman came into the Best Buy store and split to visit different departments, and make large purchases in those departments. Each of the purchases was attempted by credit cards that were declined. The suspects were described as a male/black wearing a white shirt, a female/black wearing a brown shirt and carrying a brown-and-white purse, and a female/black wearing a white shirt. A fourth person — a male/black with no description details — left the store before police arrived.

Police arrested one of the females and transported her to Arlington Heights Police Department headquarters.
